2017 TASH Conference has ended

Each year, the TASH Conference brings together a diverse community of stakeholders who gain information, learn about resources, and connect with others across the country to strengthen the disability field. This year’s conference theme, “Still We Rise for Equity, Opportunity, and Inclusion,” shows the resilience of individuals with disabilities and their families across the lifespan. Conference attendees will celebrate their passion for disability rights, civil rights, and human rights while exploring inclusive communities, schools, and workplaces that support people with disabilities, including those with complex support needs. Return to TASH website.

Kate Brady, PhD ABD is Deputy Director at the Georgia Council on Developmental Disabilities (GCDD) — a federally funded, independent state agency that advocates on behalf of Georgians and families living with developmental disabilities. Brady brings two decades of work in the field of disability policy, service, and systems advocacy to the role. Brady believes in the GCDD mission to bring about social and policy changes that promote opportunities for persons with developmental disabilities and their families to live, learn, work, play, and worship in Georgia communities and is honored to be a part of the mighty force of advocates and professionals collaborating towards these ends.
